THANK YOU..I WAS HOPING RABBI JAMES WOULD KNOW....

DO YOU KNOW IF TIMOTHY OF NEW TESTATMENT WAS HEBREW OR GREEK?

DO YOU KNOW IF TIMOTHY OF NEW TESTATMENT WAS HEBREW OR GREEK?

--so far as i know from the book of Acts there is a Timotheus whose father was a greek and mother a Jewess. under the jewish law one whose mother a Jew is one a Jew too. but since Paul circumcised him i can only infer that up to that time Timotheus followed his father's heathen religion, only through Paul that he converted to monotheism/ nazarenism. but this is only my thinking.

It's not difficult to answer at all.
He was taken to Egypt with his parents for a brief time when he was a child; this is the only departue from the land of Israel by Yeshua recorded in the Bible, excepting his departure to heaven, where he now is, of course.

yes thank you solomon avar

yea you're right i did not figure that out.

i was tied into Griffis' verb "leave".
