Who are the two witnesses of Rev. 11?

Enoch and Elijah?

Moses and Elijah?

Moses and Elijah

Once on the mountain, Matthew 17:2 states that  "Jesus" was transfigured before them; his face shining as the sun, and his garments became white as the light." At that point the prophets Elijah and Moses appear and Jesus begins to talk to them.

Jesus returns with his feet on the mountain and I do believe Elijah and Moses are the two witnesses on the Mount of Olives.

It has to be Enoch and Elijah. They didnt die, whereas Moses did; it is appointed that everyone must die.

Enoch & Elijah

Who are the Two Witnesses (Rev. 11)?

the Torah and the Faith in the mesichah

this is evident from the subsequent verses.

How can the Torah and Faith in Mesichah lie dead for the whole world to see?

Shabbat Shalom, good question James.  Yeshua, after OPENING The Scriptures to His Disciples concerning His suffering, death, burial, and 3rd day resurrection, which was written by Moshe, told THEM that they were His WITNESSES to the One True Gospel (Luke 24:45-48):

Lk 24:45-48  45 Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures,

46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Messiah to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48 And ye are witnesses of these things (They were WITNESSES of these things that were WRITTEN, which had just been OPENED to them.)

Now, concerning witnesses, and the testimony that is valid, the Law states:

Deut 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

The matter of Yeshua being put to death, at the hands of wicked men, by ALL sinners, is at the core of the One True Gospel.  This testimony was given by the FIRST witness of the One True Gospel, starting at Pentecost (Acts 2:23).  So before this matter can be established AGAINST sinful mankind (all who put Yeshua to death BY SINNING), a SECOND witness to the One True Gospel must arise, and give Her testimony.  I am convinced that the Two Witnesses are those who testify at TWO separate timeframes, to the One True Gospel, which is according to the Law of Moshe where he wrote of Yeshua's suffering, death, burial, and 3rd day resurrection.  The Apostlic Assembly - 2000 years ago was the FIRST Witness, and the Assembly of Exiles which is being raised up by Yeshua from those who are coming forth out of Babylon/Confusion, is the SECOND Witness.

Yeshua said that a sign He would give is that if the Temple of His Body is destroyed, He would REBUILD it WITHIN three days (John 2:19 & 21)....and what is a day to Elohim (2 Pet 3:8)?  The Second Witness to the One True Gospel is about to begin Her testimony!  Blessings in The Name, ImAHebrew.
