Hebrews in Ancient America

Did ancient Hebrew explorers and missionaries come to the New World centuries before Columbus? Were any of the American Indians descended from any of the Ten Lost Tribes? This is a place to discuss and debate these questions.

As a matter of fact, America would have lost the war for independence had it not been for a Jew.

I am not saying that the lost tribes did not come to the Americas, but so many of you are so sure that they crossed the atlantic ocean.
Why is it so difficult to accept the fact that some of the lost tribes of Israel may have crossed the berring straight between Russia and Alaska and traveled down the west coast of America and then dispersed through out the Americas.
The bible very clearly tells us that many in the dispersion went up past the Causcus Mountains and settled in russia. We know that those who went towards the british isles, which is England, Ireland, wales, and scottland came from the tribe of Dan. Some of these may have crossed the atlantic ocean in the manner that you are discussing. But then there are others in the dispersion who did not go to these areas that may have come to America by another route.
We all know, that eventually the majority of the dispersed ended up in America.
Why? Because the majority of the lost tribes Of Israel are of the gentiles and this nation is has a vast majority of gentiles living in it today. Yes, whether you want to accept it or not, the gentiles make up the lost sheep of the house of Israel. These are the only ones whom Yahweh made a covenant with, and it is these same gentiles that Yahweh is calling home to Himself now. Not the pagans or the heathens of the nations, but His lost sheep. So if you have a desire to know Yahweh, and if you are searching for Him, it is because Yahweh is removing the veils from your eyes, and you are hearing His calling. Why, because it is with You, the descendents of the lost tribes of Israel, that Yahweh has a covenant to fulfill. He made a blood covenant with your ancestors at the foot of Mount Sinai, and Yahweh knows who all of those whose inheritance is with, and where they are now. Yahweh did not make a covenant with any heathen nation, but just with the nation of Israel, all twelve tribes, and that is why Yahweh is calling you back to Him and the covenant that your ancestors sealed in blood with Yahweh.
So if you hear Yahweh calling you to come to Yahshua, it is because you belong to Him and you are of the lost tribes of Israel that went into dispersion. You just lost your identity, your culture and your heritage. But Yahweh is now revealing all this to you, and you are coming back to Him and you don't even realize who you are in Yahweh.
I am so glad that Yahweh revealed all this to me, and this prior to me finding out that my father was the descendent of one of those that were in the dispersion or diaspora. So when I found out about my dad and his real heritage, I was so happy to know that that is why Yahweh was calling me back to HIM...........Hallelu-YAH. I am very happy to be one of those in the ones entitled to be an heir through the covenant.

First off this is not a "Lost Tribes" issue. Many of the inscriptions found in the new world are written in Post-Exilic Scripts which were never used by the Lost Tribes. Secondly, I repeat, there is evidence that Solomon's ships circled the earth and Yeshua states that Pharisee missionaries circled the earth.

I am not proposing that Hebrews settled in Ancient America, that is more than I can say. The point of my book is only that Hebrew explorers came here and left evidence of their presence.

And I never refuted that. But I am stating what Yahweh has revealed to me, and that is all that I am saying.
I am not denying that the Hebrews did not land here, but the Hebrews also include the 10 northern tribes, or have you forgotten that.
The jews is a modern conception. And I was not referring to the Jews. At one time, prior to Solomon's disobedience to Yahweh by marrying foreign wife of pagan nations, and allowing these wives to build altars to their pagan gods, israel was one nation. There was no seperation. But then Yahweh in His anger, divided israel into a northern and southern part. And two kings were appointed to rule the 12 tribes of israel. One was Rehoboam, of the southern tribes of Judah and Benjamin and this included the levites, and then there was JEroboam, who was made king over the ten northern tribes, and it was because JEroboam lead the ten northern tribes of Israel astray and set up his own temple and his own altars that Yahweh allowed Syria to come and destroy them and they took the northern tribes captive, and it ws because of this captivity that the northern tribes went into dispersion.
So your ascersion that the northern tribes did not have anything to do with what you are talking about, I hate to differ with you.
You stated that solomons ships encircled the world. Well during Solomon's rule, Israel was one nation, so even the ten northern tribes was under the jurisdiction of Judah and Solomon.
So don't go putting words into my mouth that I did not allude to.

I repeat many of the inscriptions are clearly from a period after the time of Ezra and Nehemiah and are of House of Judah origin. Yes, I think there is evidence that Hebrew explorers came here as early as the reign of Solomon. I AM saying that there is NOTHING definitively "Lost Tribes" about the evidence I have found, and some of it is definitively House of Judah. If Lost Tribes came here I cannot say. I did include two appendices by M.M. Noah (a prominant 19th century Jew who argued that the Indians were from the Lost Tribes, mostly because his evidence was pointing in general to Hebrew contact with the New World (cultural influence etc.).

Out of curosity, I went through my books and found the reference to Las Lumas, which is in a book by Yair Davidi, entitled Ephraim. He writes about, the Pre Columbian claims of Barry Fell, that Israelites did indeed visit north America.

To clarify, the point of my book is not whether or not the American Indians descend from any of the Lost Ten Tribes (Though Noah's monographs on the subject are included in the appendices.

The point of the book is simply that Hebrew explorers, merchants and anti-missionaries visited ancient America long before the vikings or Columbus.
