About me:
A big subject! I have travelled round the Middle East - to Israel, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi, Greece, Iran, Egypt etc. I learned my prayers in Arabic. I love Israel too & walk a delicate path between the two nations & faiths. I love my wife so much I would die for her and PTL she loves me too. We are very close. I love the Word of God and really enjoy delving deep into it (Pardes...). I am an incurable romantic. I have 17000 books and am busy cataloguing them, which will take around 10 years. Largely Social History & Theology. I long to find another polymath but they seem rare in my area. I love God so much that I bought a huge church in Shrewsbury & turned it back into a church again and God has said He will use in in revival but I'm still waiting for Him to reveal the person(s) whom He wants to take it over. I am very practical so actually don;t read as much as I would like..No room for other bizarre facts.- I love good worship & hope the Lord will provide folk to lead it in my church - in Spirit & Truth
Marital Status
So much.. Russian Greek & Syrian Orthodox, Arabic Maqam, Eastern European, Indian (sitar, shehnai, sarangi, Gregorian & Ambrosian Chant, Medieval, Renaissance, BACH, Praetorius, Jewish (esp Burning Bush & klezmer) Maddy Prior & the Carnival Band, some modern Christian songs (Michael W Smith, Robin Mark, Stuart Townend etc) Messianic Worship oh it goes on.......
Where to start?. My massive library as mentioned above in which there are some amazing books. I do hope I might find someone who would really appreciate the so I can hand them on.because I shall surely never get round to selling them.. I really have too many interests to detail. Photography, Bible study but really searching for the deeper meanings, red wine. but not too much. stilton cheese. sunlight and. beauty Poetry. Music. and above all GOD!!! He should come first. All other things are passing away..
Favorite Television Shows and Movies:
Documentaries and anything romantic. Lawrence of Arabiat was just inspiring. So nothing violent or crude - just uplifting and inspiring. Although come to think of it Lawrence was a bit violent but it was not gratuitous. There are thousands. Prefer foreign films don't much like American films.
What is your favorite Book of the Scriptures?
Genesis, Song of Songs, Hebrews and several others.
What is your favorite verse?
I love Romans 8:11 and Jeremiah 9:23,24 but about another thousand besides!! How can one choose!?
What is your favorite quote? (From Scripture or elsewhere)
I like any verse that reassures a sinner like me that 'All who call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved' I need to hear that when i feel useless and hopeless.
How did you hear of NazareneSpace?
In my huge library I have a little book dated 1555 which includes Bishop du Tillett's Hebrew version of Matthew with a Latin translation and also Sebastian Munster's version of Matthew and also the letter to the Hebrews in Hebrew. Dated I would think around the same year. I was Googling to try to find out anyone who would be interested in this but no one ever answers. A bit disappointing because it's a wonderful little (small octavo) volume. Please someone reply to me won't you? That's why I joined you!! I want to know if Prof George Howard is still alive. And of course I hope your wife will soon recover James Trimm. You sound fascinating & I am so sorry she is ill.

Shalom to all followers of Yeshua.  I have been trying to arouse interest in a little octavo book I bought in 2005 from Christie's auction rooms.  It is an extremely rare copy of Bishop de Tillett's copy of the Hebrew text of St Matthew.  James Trimm knows about it but has been too busy to reply as yet what with his dear wife in hospital.  So may she get well soon with God's help.

The book is dated 1555 and starting at the back has a dedication followed by the Hebrew text is…
