Yahweh Shalom Miss Kim. I always make it a point to write to anyone I see who is from Pennsylvania or eastern Ohio, West Virginia, etc. I have a daughter who is a believer and lives in eastern Pa. occassionally we visit her and hold services down that way.
Please note the following Pal Talk bible study announcement. If you can, please join us this Shabbat.
Yahweh bless you and yours, b'Shem Yahshua Meshikaynu,
Rav. Mordecai (Tom)
Shalom Friends and a blessed Yom Rishon to all. We are pleased to invite you to a live "Pal Talk" Bible Study this Shabbat at 11 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
The Pal Talk designations are:
"Religion and Spirituality"
then: "Bnai Yeshurun"
Sad to say since there is no "Messianic" or let alone "Nazarene Israel" sub-heading, we had to choose "Christianity." If we chose "Judaism" we would be deluged with arguments and perhaps some not so nice comments from the anti-missionary crowd. We want this study to be a time of learning and blessing, not a time of strife and arguing. So we'll use what we have and use it for Yahweh's Glory. Join us at 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, this Sabbath, Nov. 29.
The subject will be Parsha Toldot (Generations). Please have your Bible and notebooks ready if you'd like.
There are a few ground rules:
We will use the Sacred Names exclusively.
If you make text comments, stick to the subject at hand.
Use the 'Raise hand" feature to be recognized. (Not everyone can or will be recognized but we'll do our best. I'm new at this so please be patient and don't be offended if you're not recognized right away or at all. Tehillim [Psalms) 119:165]. We must Love yahweh's Torah and not be 'offended' easily ).
Invite friends. ( Remember, however, that as of now we have a basic Pal Talk room and it is limited to 200 people although I'd be shocked if we had anywhere near that many).
Don't forget the Rosh Chodesh this week so Kislev blessings to all. It is no coincidence that what may be a new phase of the ministry is starting on the first Shabbat of a new Scriptural month. keep us in your prayers, please.
Todah Rabah and Shavuah Tov to all, and Yahweh bless all b'Shem Yahshua Meshikaynu.
Rav. Mordecai ( Tom)
