While you wait for your healing to manifest, I would suggest St. John's Wort. It's a pain-killer as well as a killer of some harmful bacteria. Some herbalists have used it to cure Tetanus bug when it is used quickly on dirty wounds - as soon as possible. You may find it bottled under hypericum tincture, or make it yourself. Marigold, they say, is very useful for cleansed wounds. Its healing properties are very potent! But St. John's Wort is the best especially for pets' claws, stab-wounds from splinters and thorns, and any cuts which may have become infected.
