Could it be possible that the hexagram is a schematic for the menorah? As you know from an electrical schematic diagram, rarely does it look like the actual circuit, but rather it shows the logical connections between components. Here is a possib...

So Christian, you're saying that the directions of North and South were meaningless? Also, regarding the notion of going down to Mitzrayin/Egypt. There's south and then there's far south. From Milwaukee WI, i can go down to Racine, WI or I can go...

Ancient Hebrews would say : Let us go UP to (the east) Yerushalayim and DOWN to (the west) to Mitzrayim Their maps did NOT place North at the top, and south at the bottom.

"I'm afraid I dont understand your reasoning - Why is the Northern kingdom a triangle? Because the Hobos say so?" No, what I'm saying is that the triangle and variations of it from ancient times has universally been a symbol for woman. The upside...

The ancient Israelites could have used the star indeed - the Scripture from Amos verifies that they used it - even Shlomo used many pagan symbols.

The Mogen David has seven internal areas, six are alike, representing the six workdays, and the seventh represents the Sabbath. The outside of the Star has 12 sides representing the 12 tribes of Israel. The Star is made from two intertwined Paleo-...

One is pointing north to mark the northeren kingdom and the other is pointing south to mark the southeren kingdom. No of course the hexagram isn't mandated. The only for sure symbol is the 7 branched menorah.

How did you hear of NazareneSpace?
I think someone invited me, but forgot who-- it was almost 2 years ago.
This film was my master's thesis film (16mm, not video) at UWM, completed around the time as i was just beginning to come into the Nazarene faith. Cinematography, picture editing, audio recording, audio design, sync sound, audio editing, music score, and in-camera special effects (no digital picture compositing was used whatsoever, it was all analog film) was all done by myself (Chris Schaefer). Please be patient with the grandmother regarding her usage of the terms "God," "Lord," and "Jesus."-- that is all the knowledge that was given her, so she did the best with what she knew. Understand when she says "God," that really means "Elohim"; when she says "Lord," that really means "Master"; when she says "Jesus," that really means "Yeshua". For a better explanation of this go here.

rethinking the hexagram

Up till now, i have seen much research from others showing the occultic and satanic connections to the hexagram, and so had been very skeptical of any validity of the hexagram for actually representing the Commonwealth of faithful Yisrael. My change of mind came when a friend gave the following analogy: if someone stole your car and committed a robbery with it, it doesn't mean that you used your car to commit a robbery. Also, on the Alex Jones show, Alex said something to the effect that there a… Continue

Patriarchinity Chapter 12: Covering vs. Cover-ups

Patriarchinity Chapter 12: Covering vs. Cover-ups

by Chris Jacob Schaefer ©2009

Up till now, much of this book has focused upon the identity of the Ruach HaQodesh. Why? She is perhaps the most mysterious Divine Being, and yet most often misunderstood. While it does not necessarily prevent someone from becoming a believer, misunderstandings of Who the Divine Elohim is (and are) can hinder us from the intimacy that we as priests and priestesses… Continue

Patriarchinity Appendix 2: Understanding El Shaddai

Understanding “El Shaddai (in 3 easy steps)

© Chris Jacob Schaefer 2009

This fascinating title, El Shaddai (Al Shaddee), is really a double entendre of sorts. What? There’s wordplay in Ancient Hebrew? Absolutely. Its meaning is dependent upon the context in which it is found--especially with the meanings of shad vs. shaddahee seeming very different from one another.

Patriarchinity Chapter 13: The Power of Seven

Patriarchinity Chapter 13: The Power of Seven

Mishlei/Proverbs 25:2

2 It is the glory of Elohim to conceal a matter: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.

This last chapter will examine some concealed and mysterious attributes of the Ruach HaQodesh. Many in Christianity and Messianicism have avoided this topic for a long time; but… Continue

My computer blew off the biblio stuff I intended to forward...irritating, for there went three or more hours over the 1-200 pages I had. Try this...use the net, Amazon, etc. or a good U library, find a book titled Cherokee, written in about the 90s (author also wrote something on the Comanche, etc. titled, I thinjk,. Warriors of the Plains. Unless you wish to do great damage to Misters Grant or now probably Franklin, try for it on interlibrary loan or on site. It is the best one for these ties. There is also another titled, I believe, Calaus(sp) on a Jewish settlement in the southern woodlands, the film Lakota Woman by Cathy? Yellowhawk you may be able to find, and severa; articles or books on ancient Americas coinages found in Europe, and vice versa. Also a lot on Viking, African, Asian, etc. trade, explorations, etc. is out there.
Good luck and good hunting.

Personal observation/witness at a NAI conference at Claremont, sometime in the 90s...this was a film made by I think Cathy Yellowknife (could be wrong here). I may have that footnote on a biblio I did for something else, but will take a little time to research it. Also if interested read up on the old Cherokee, how their council house was constructed, the ephod worn by what would be the same as a priest, and the ark they carried into battle. They also observed a seven day cycle, fasted (as memory serves), and there are other very interesting things that came out of the Southern woodlands...again, I would have to locate that bibliography but interesting it indeed is.
