One day I was down to nothing and I was very hungry. I prayed and continued to wait on Yahuah for an answer. Well humanistically, I became weak as this particular day went on. I walked down to a neighbor's home to use their phone in oder to call my Dad to see if he could loan me money and even thought of another so-call friend to see if they would help. I call out saying in the name of Jesus, not knowing or being familiar…Continue

Scary Shofar Sounds
Arthur L. Finkle
This past week, we read Exodus 18:1 -20:23). Interestingly, this passage refers to the sound of the shofar. It also puzzles the reader.
Picture that the children of Israel have successfully fled the Egyptian taskmasters. Moses leads these former slaves. God tells him that there are special plans for this special assemblage – 600,000…Continue

Well I have an important new discovery to report concerning the Apocrypha and specifically the Wisdom of Solomon. According to Melito in the second century CE, the Wisdom of Solomon was considered canonical by Jews and Christians. The Hebrew version of the Wisdom of Solomon is also mentioned by Ramban (1194-1270 CE) in the preface to his commentary on the Torah. He also quotes from the book.
We can now be certain that the Wisdom of Solomon was…
