Nazarene Space

The first seminal moment of any process is the thought, what comes after are the means to actualize the thought, be it speech or action.

All is contained in the divine thought prior to the moment of beginning, until it emanates and descents through the divine speech in the order the Sefirot.

The first word in Torah is בְּרֵאשִׁית, with an oversized Beit, representing the divine thought.

 

There is Thought

Thought is concealed in the mind of, yet separate from, the "thinker". Beit בּ in gematria is 2, which denotes "separation" from 1, God the Thinker.

“There is thought (mind)” in Hebrew is יֵשׁ מֹחַ, the four letters can permute to spell Mashiach מָּשִׁיחַ, hence Mashiach is the “divine thought” prior to creation, which corresponds to the Sefirah of Keter, the crown, for Mashiach is the head (beginning) of the body (creation).

The rabbis understood the first letter Beit בּ to mean “blessing”, the root is ברך, the letters can permute to spell the “first born” בְּכֹר, the gematria is 222, as distinct from 111, the Alef אלף, the father. The concept of 2 is as much the separation (first-born) as the addition (blessing).

Mashiach is the firstborn of the creation (Col 1:15).

The rabbis understood there are “10 sayings” in the creation account, but a careful examination only reveals 9 appearances of the phrase “And God said”. The Zohar maintains that the first verse Gen 1:1 is the 1st saying:

בְּרֵאשִׁית, בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים, אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם, וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. (Gen 1:1)

 

Since the verse is not preceded by the explicit “And God said”, it therefore dwells on the borderline between the implicit (concealed) and the explicit (revealed), the intermediary between the thought (concealed) and the subsequent 9 speeches (revealed).

This level corresponds to the Yechidah of the 5 levels of soul, as Mashiach is also known as Yechidah.

 

Wisdom is the beginning

Then came the “beginning” following the first letter Beit בּ, the Hebrew is רֵאשִׁית, since wisdom is called the beginning, this is the Sefirah of Wisdom (Chachmah).

The LORD possessed me in the beginning (רֵאשִׁית) of his way, before his works of old. (Prov 8:22)

It is well known that the gematria of the first verse (Gen 1:1) is 2701, which is 37 x 73, where 37 is the gematria of Yechidah יְחִידָה, the Mashiach, and 73 is the gematria of Wisdom חָכְמָה.

It follows that the first verse is the intermediary between Mashiach and the Wisdom, in that Mashiach (as Yechidah) descends down to Wisdom in the act of creation.

 

Understanding is the Spirit of God

The “Spirit of God”רוּחַ אֱלֹהִים hovers upon the face of the water (Gen 1:2). While water always corresponds to Wisdom, Ruach (spirit) in Hebrew is feminine and corresponds to the mother principle, the Sefirah of Understanding (Binah). The primary function of the Spirit of God is to clarify Wisdom, which is the function of Understanding.

This concludes the first 3 Sefirot, which represent the descent of Mashiach. Astonishingly, the sum of the gematria is exactly that of Shema:

The Shema has a gematria of 1118 as is commonly known. This comes to teach us that while the process of creation represents separation, i.e. duality, there is only one God.

שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ יְהוָה אֶחָד

Day 1 - Let there be light

The key theme of Day 1 is “light אוֹר, which corresponds to 1st emotional Sefirah, Chesed, Loving Kindness, for light gives and darkness receives.

Day 1 corresponds to the 1st Millennium when the Light of Adam was diminished. For Adam was destined to live 1000 years, but the final 70 years was given to King David (rabbinical). 70 is the gematria of Ayin ע.  This parallels Mashiach giving away his final letter Ayin to the nations (whose number is 70), resulting in a defective name Yeshu יֵשׁוּ from the original name Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ.

 

Day 2 - Separation

The key theme of Day 2 is the “separation מַבְדִּיל of the upper water from the lower water which is a day of sadness and anguish, the only day for which God did not say “good”. Separation requires strength and might, corresponding to Gevurah, Might, the 2nd emotional Sefirah.

Day 2 corresponds to the 2nd Millennium at the outset of which came the Flood, when the upper water (rain) and lower water (fountains) was brought together (Gen 7:11). This is the generation of apostasy and idolatry, the confusion of the tongues and the dispersion of the 70 nations (Gen 11:9).

 

Day 3 - Seed

The key theme Day 3 is the “seed זֶרַע, when the water was gathered into one place and dry land appears, corresponding to Tiferet, Beauty, the 3rd emotional Sefirah.

This level of the triad represents the descent of Mashiach from the intellectual level to the emotional level.

1369 is exactly 37 squared, where 37 is the gematria of Yechidah, which is the Mashiach.

Day 3 corresponds to the 4th Millennium when Abraham was called to become the father of many nations, and the promise of the seed.

When the “light” of Day 1 descends into the “70 nations” of Day 2 (represented by the letter Ayin), it reemerges in the “seed” of the one nation of Day 3:

Day 4 - luminaries

The “luminaries” מְאֹרֹת were created on Day 4 to rule over the day and night, corresponding to Netzach, which means both victory and eternity, the 4th emotional Sefirah.

Day 4 corresponds to the 4th Millennium with Torah given at the outset but Mashiach rejected toward the end of the age, fulfilling the prophecy that the stone the builders rejected has become the corner stone (Psalm 118:22 ). The word luminaries מְאֹרֹת is spelled defectively missing two Vavs, alluding to the death of Mashiach between the destruction of the two Temples toward the end of the 4th Millennium, for the first letter and final letter of מְאֹרֹת spell Met מֵת, meaning death, and the middle two letters spell the defective light אֹר (missing the Vav), hence Day 4 alludes to the rejection of Torah, death of the Light (Mashiach), and destruction of both Temples.

The resurrection of the Mashiach represents the life eternal and victory (over death), the secret of the Sefirah of Netzach נֵצַח, the gematria is 148, which is exactly the gematria of יִצְמָח, he shall grow, as it is written:

הִנֵּה-אִישׁ צֶמַח שְׁמוֹ, וּמִתַּחְתָּיו יִצְמָח, וּבָנָה אֶת-הֵיכַל יְהוָה

Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD (Zechariah 6:12).

 

 

Day 5 - Living Creature

On Day 5, the “living creature נֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה were created, corresponding to Hod, the 5th emotional Sefirah. This is the first time when God made the blessing (Gen 1:22), juxtaposing Hod which means Praise and Thanks-giving.

Day 5 corresponds to the 5th Millennium in which “many are called but few are chosen”, the admixture of fish the spiritual, birds the intermediary, and beasts the physical, which at the collective level is called “one nation in the land” גּוֹי אֶחָד בָּאָרֶץ (2 Sam 7:23) meaning Israel:

Day 6 - Man

The pinnacle of creation is Day 6, when “man אָדָם was created, corresponding to Yesod, Foundation, the 6th emotional Sefirah.

Day 6 corresponds to the 6th Millennium toward the end of which Mashiach the final Adam will be revealed to rectify the original sin in the Garden once and for all.

The essence of the sin in the Garden is that the Snake (Nefesh) deceived Eve (Ruach) who in turn deceived Adam (Neshamah), or Matter over Heart, and Heart over Mind:

528 is the triangle number of 32, the gematria of heart, לֵב, the delusion of the heart, as it were.

Mashiach, having the same gematria (358) as the Snake, is the antithesis of the Snake. The rectification of Mashiach in essence is “reverse engineering”: Just in the Garden the creation of Eve was to be separated from Adam, hence in the rectification process, the calling of Israel as the chosen people must be separated from the Nations. It follows that Israel represents the elevated Adam, and what remains is the Nations to parallel Eve:

1024 is exactly the square of 32, the gematria of heart, לֵב, the perfection of the heart, as it were.

This is called Mind over Heart, and Heart over Matter, meaning Israel must accept Mashiach as the Head, before the union of Mashiach and Israel can be the light to the Nations.

If the original sin is represented by the triangle number of 32, the final rectification is represented by the square of 32. The first letter and the last letter of Torah spell heart, לֵב, having the gematria of 32 and acting as the means for rectification of the world which is created by the 32 appearances of Elohim in the creation account.

It is now clear that the perfect relationship between Israel and the Nations is that of husband and wife, Alef and Ayin, number 1 and 70, light and vessel. This is only possible when Israel accepts Mashiach as the Head.

 

Day 7 - Shabbat

Day 7 is the “Shabbat”שָׁבַת, the Kingdom on earth, the Sefirah of Kingdom, Malchut, which comes at the time when the delusion of the heart (∆32 = 528) is removed from the perfection of the heart (322 = 1024):

1024 – 528 = 496

496 is exactly the gematria of Kingdom, מַלְכוּת.

Jacob represents Adam in that they had the same appearance (rabbinical), and Jacob was not elevated and called Israel until he had conquered Satan (by wrestling with angel):

The Central Axle

There are four Sefirot on the central axle:

  1. Crown (Keter)                    - Mashiach;

Foundation in Kabbalah corresponds to the site of circumcision from where the “seed” is issued. The gematria of “seed” and “man” adds up to 357, exactly the gematria of Mashiach less 1.

In Kabbalah, the Yesod (Foundation) is said to issue the seed to impregnate the Malchut (Kingdom), astonishingly, their combined gematria is exactly 853, the mirror image of 358, in that the Kingdom (Bride) reflects the Mashiach in the Crown:

Mashiach represents the original divine thought, the number 2 relative to God being 1. Mashiach therefore represents the concept of duality.

At the level of Tiferet (Beauty), Mashiach is called the “Seed of Abraham” זֶרַע אַבְרָהָם (Gal 3:16), and at the level of Yesod (Foundation) Mashiach is called the “Son of Man” בֶּן-אָדָם.

Shabbat represents the Kingdom of God on earth, the Messianic Age:

1118 is exactly the gematria of Shema. Since the creation represents duality, therefore Shema is required to reinforce the faith in one God:

This beautifully illustrates the reflection of the “beginning” in the “end” of the Sefirot, the union of the mercy of God YHVH יְהוָה (26) with the judgment of God Elohim אֱלֹהִים (86).

The End and the Beginning

The end is enwedged in the beginning.

The 10th Sefirah Kingdom corresponds to King David. Kingdom Malchut is the 7th daughter from Binah (Understanding).

David was married to Bat-Sheva בַּת-שֶׁבַע, literally means the 7th daughter. The gematria of Bat-Sheva to King David בַּת-שֶׁבַע לְדָוִד הַמֶּלֶךְ has a gematria of 913, exactly that of Bereshit בְּרֵאשִׁית, in the beginning.
