Listen to The Nazarene Radio Network on Android, iPhone and Car Stereo

With increasing technology we are now able to listen to internet radio even when we are not at our computers.  With thousands of stations to choose from, we can now even listen to internet radio in our automobiles through the car stereos.  The Android (aka Droid) and the iPhone are the world leaders in Smartphones and the technology is incredible and gives us instant access to the teachers and the streaming audio on NRN.  Many of you may be wondering, how do I listen to NRN on my smartphone?  How can I listen during my morning jog or exercise routine.  Well I am gonna show you now.

Andriod (Droid)

1) download the free app Xiia Lite (you can find this under your applications section on your Android)
2) After installation it is recommended to restart your cell phone (turn it off and turn it back on)
3) then click on this URL http://s1.voscast.com:7266/listen.pls or this one http://cdn.voscast.com/resources/?key=26c15fd9954ff76bd385d322303f4...
4) Enjoy NRN on your smartphone (you can also plug your headphones into your phone, or plug an aux cable into your car stereo and listen in surround sound at 96 kbps

iPhone

is it also called xiia lite instead droid live? because nothing in android market come up as droid live on my phone.

Yeah, Dena, the blog you and I looked at when we were on skype trying to figure it out on your phone was an old blog, and I believe you are right Droid Live is no more, and it is replaced with Xiia Lite, you guys now all have me jealous, I need to get a smartphone now lol

Mikha El, I used to have a blackberry and I love the blackberry, however I will look up some tutorials and find out for you if it is possible I would imagine it is

Thanks "New town, I have Pandora on it now. But the "Nazarene Radio Network" is not an available station listing name. If I install Slacker, will the station name I mentioned be listed?

you would have to go to the pls link listed above, Pandora is not actually radio, Pandora is a playlist you create on their website by selecting artists, two totally different animals

I've installed Slacker and cannot find the Nazarene Radio Network. Is it named something else there or will "Slacker" not function for listening to the NRN on the Blackberry despite it looking interesting.
