New Edition Hebraic Roots Version Scriptures!

We are working on a new edition and printing of the Hebraic Roots Version Scriptures.  This new edition will contain revisions and additional notes from material from our recent analysis of recently released/discovered Hebrew manuscripts of "New Testament" books.  It will also include the books known as the "Apocrypha" as well as the Book of Enoch. By popular request this will be a smaller edition which can be easily held in the hand.

We need your help to continue this important work, as well as our new project to put Nazarene Commentaries online free

We must raise $1,500 by the end of Friday (June 15th) with $600 of that amount due by the end of the day Monday (June 11th)

We really need our supporters to step up to the plate today.

As you know we have been digging ourselves out of a budget shortfall.  As I have said to you many times, I look on this work as a co-operative one with me, and all of you combining our resources together in order to get the job done of helping to teach this great truth to all in the world who will listen. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for your continued support, you are the ones who make it all possible by your contributions and your prayers for our work. I truly appreciate your help in every way.

If you can make a one time donation of $500 or $1,000 dollars to support this work.

You can donate by going to the pay-pal counter at http://www.nazarenespace.com or donations can be sent by paypal to donations@wnae.org.

Please make a PDF version as the small print in little books is way to hard to read (even with glasses).

Fantastic!

Brilliant! As said before, the HRV is the best Bible I have ever had.

I wonder if MT 28:19 should not be simply worded „Go” as in the Shem Tob version (the ‘trinity verse’ seems to be clearly injected by Rome, as Ratzinger himself admitted).

I actually like the size as there is lots of space to add one’s notes (but I guess there will be still a good margin in the new version).

I like to big size of the previous bibles..  For my hands they are easier to hold onto and the print is just right..  can u see your way to printing both sizes.?..

when will they be available?  I have to save up...

Yes, Jake, Matthew 28:19 SHOULD just read "Go".  Aside from the Shem Tob reading, all of the "church fathers" up until Eusebius all quoted this passage as "go".  Then Eusebius added the rest.  Similar to how all of the church fathers up until Eusebius all recorded that Yehoshua's ministry was JUST OVER ONE YEAR, then Eusebius added John 6:4 (and misinterpreted the feast in John 5 as Passover) in order to extend His ministry to 3 1/2 years.  At least one old manuscript of John has been found missing 6:4, which is clearly an addition.  If it was Passover, why were both Yehoshua and the Pharisees in some other town A LONG WAY AWAY from Jerusalem - eating LEAVENED BREAD (the multiplication of the loaves and fish)?  Simple: it WASN'T Passover!

Also, Jubilees, Acts 29 & the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs are inspired Scripture (while the manuscript most accept as "Jasher" is a medieval forgery that contradicts other books of Scripture).  As are Psalms 151-155.

Thanks J-M, that is very interesting. I have probably just started scratching the surface, and wasn't aware of what you wrote regarding Matthew 28:19. Also, the original Book of Jasher mentioned in the Tanakh is not extant anymore, is that right?

Personally, I am not quite sure about Yeshua's ministry, as Daniel seems to have prophesied those 3 1/2 years (see attachment).

In any case, there seems to be a lot I don't know yet.

It would be great if also the following two points could be considered for inclusion in new HRV:

1. The Shem Tob Version held by the National Library in Jerusalem has “yosef avi miriam” in MATTAI 1:16 (see photo below). This alternate reading clarifies all the difficulties with Yeshua’s genealogies, and proves Him to be a direct descendant of King David:

a. “Yosef avi miriam” shows that Miriam is of Davidic descent, and because she had no brothers and married within her own tribe, the ancestral line can go through her (not through the paternal side as usual; see BEMIDBAR 27:8 and 36:6-7).

b. It shows that Ya’akov’s son Yosef (MATTAI 1:16) and Heli’s son Yosef (LUKAS 3:23) are two different persons. Though the latter is indeed Miriam’s husband and of Davidic descent, the Jewish people don’t accept a “step-fatherhood” as a legitimate continuation of David’s line.

In summary: - Contrary to widespread opinion, MATTAI shows Miriam’s lineage; Yeshua is the “Son of David” through her (and now we have also 14 generations even without adding "Abner" from the DuTillet version). LUKAS, on the other hand, shows Yosef’s lineage; he is from the same tribe as Miriam – from Judah.

2. “By a confirming word” in MATTAI 5:34 reads in Shem Tob “in vain” (לשוא – lashav’), just like in SHEMOT 20:7.

Yeshua didn’t teach contrary to the Torah saying “You shall not swear at all”, but He taught not to swear in vain or falsely – just like the Torah says.

You shall not swear falsely, neither by the name of YHWH nor by heaven, earth, Yerushalayim, or anything else – that was Yeshua’s message (because the Pharisees thought that if they swear not by the name of YHWH but by something else, then they can circumvent the commandment and swear falsely).

This fully agrees with the Gospel of the Hebrews where Ya’akov swears not to eat any bread until he has seen the risen Yeshua (Ya’akov didn’t disobey Yeshua’s teaching, but obeyed the Torah as confirmed by Yeshua).
