Did you listen to the show?

Are you talking about Oral Law or the Talmud?

Was Yeshua violating Torah then when he observed the rituals of the Passover Sader, such as the Cup of Redemption which are drawn not from Exodus 12 but from m.Pes. 10?

I have been asking myself this question for some time. After doing research it is clear that Yeshua and his students were certainly keeping oral tradition. There were two major forms of followers of oral torah the halakists (who focused on the legalistic aspects of oral tradition) and the aggadahist (who focused on the morals and spirituality and mystical aspects of the oral tradition). For me it is starting to look like Yeshua and his students fit nicely in the aggadahist style. For me it is clear that Yeshua and his students focused on the kabbalah, midrash, and moral parables. I think if we begin to focus our studies on what seperated early aggadahist and halakists we could find out more on what Yeshua's expectations are in regards to halakah.
