No it is just a reprint with added introduction and appendices.

The book is a classic, first written about 150 years ago.

Not necessarily,  This was a time over 150 years before the restoration, so it might be argued that he was on a path to the restoration.  At any rate, it does not impact whether or not he was right.  He was a stepping stone toward Koster's "Come out of Her my People" (Originally titled "The Final Reformation" which called for the very kind of "Restoration" which is ongoing among us now.

BTW I do not see Protestants as "pagans" only as misled.  "Pagans" are polytheists.  Even Muslims are not "Pagans".
