Wisdom in Rabbi Kaduri's Revelation

James Scott Trimm

ירים העם ויוכיח שדברו ותורתו עומדים

He will uplift the people and prove that His Word and His Torah are valid.

In 1908 Kaduri received a blessing by Yosef Chaim (Yoseph Ḥayyim) (1 September 1832 – 30 August 1909) who was a leading hakham (Sephardic Rabbi), authority on Jewish law (Halakha) and Master Kabbalist, that before his death Kaduri would see the Messiah.  In a 1990 meeting ith Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the last Rebbe of the Lubavitch movement, Schneerson also spoke a blessing to Kaduri that Kaduri would not pass from this world until he met the Messiah. This blessing was fulfilled on 9 Cheshvan 5764 (4 November 2003) in a mystical vision when Kaduri spoke with the Messiah and the Messiah revealed His name to Kaduri. Kaduri later told his disciples that the revealed name of the Messiah would be found hidden among his writings.

Rabbi Kaduri subsequently wrote a short note with instructions not to open until one year after his death. The note was penned in Hebrew and signed in the rabbi's name. It read:

בעניין הר"ת [ראשי תיבות, ע.י.] של משיח. ירים העם ויוכיח שדברו ותורתו עומדים. באתי על החתום בחודש הרחמים [אלול, ע.י] התשס"ה,

יצחק כדורי

Concerning the letter abbreviation of the Messiah’s name, He will lift the people and prove that His Word and His Torah are valid.

This I have signed in the month of mercy (Elul),
Yitzhak Kaduri

Of course the first letter from each word (called notarikon) sin the phrase "He will lift the people and prove that His Word and His Torah are valid." spells the name Yehoshua ( the long form of the name Yeshua).

There is a great deal of wisdom imbedded in this simple message.

In Yehoshua/Yeshua the People (Am-Yisrael), the Word (the Memra) and the Torah are one.

In the Messiah the People of Israel are uplifted.

In the Messiah the Word and the Torah are upheld.

Also since the definite artical was used in "the People", any noun could have appeared and still provided the "H" in this place, so the choice of AM should be recognized as important.  The word for "people" used by Kaduri is AM, it is a word commonly used in the Tanak to distinguish the AM (people/nation) of Israel from the GOYIM (nations).  This is especially clear by the use of the fefinite artical HaAm "THE People" not simply "a people".

For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the
people (AM) shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations (GOYIM).
(Num. 23:9)

And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after you:
for where you go, I will go; and where you lodge, I will lodge: your people (AM)
shall be my people (AM), and your Elohim my Elohim:
(Ruth 1:16)

The Messiah is the personification of the People of Israel also known as the Assembly of Israel or the Body of Messiah, and this had been revealed to Rabbi Kaduri in this simple phrase in which AM-Yisrael is uplifted because they are in Yehoshua/Yeshua.

Rabbi Kaduri's statement also says that in the Messiah the Word and the Torah are "upheld", literally are "pillars".  The word for "upheld" literally means "pillars" from the root "to stand" and is closely related to the word Amida (a principle prayer in the siddur) and is the word used in the Zohar and Kabbalah to refer to the Three "Pillars" of the Godhead in the Tree of Life.  The Word is in Aramaic MEMRA and has a very deep Kabbalistic meaning (See my series "The Word of YHWH Revealed" parts 1-4 at ) which had also been revealed to Rabbi Kaduri and which he reveals in his notarikon above in which the Word is in the Messiah and is a "pillar" of the Godhead.

Rabbi Kaduri also reveals that the Messiah upholds the Torah (unlike the Christian "Jesus" who supposedly came to free you from the bondage to the Law).

Kaduri also indicates here that the Messiah and the Torah are one.  This is a great truth of the restoration as I hava taught previously:

Rabbi Kaduri also reveals through this phrase, by joining Torah and the Word with a single verb, that they are the same and one with the Messiah as "pillars" of the Godhead.
(Again See my series "The Word of YHWH Revealed" parts 1-4 at )

Also important about the phrase is that it easily falls into two parts.  "He shall lift up the People" and "[he will" prove that His Word and His Torah are valid."  The phrase "He shall lift up the People" has the initials which spell YAH while the second phrase could have been written by itself so as to spell YESHUA (rather than YEHOSHUA).

Also the phrase "[he will" prove that His Word and His Torah are valid." could be translated "[he will" prove that His Word and His Torah are PILLARS."  These signify the two pillars of Nazarene Judaism: Messiah (the Word) and the Torah as we see repeated in Revelation in such passages as Rev. 12:17).

The first word he uses is the verb "lift up".  Any verb could could have been used here, as the initial letter YUD makes the verb an imperfect form, so there is special significance to this verb choice.  I believe it indicates that Messiah will come (return) when he literally "lifts up" the People of Israel just as we read in the Ketuvim Netzarim (Matt. 24:30-31; 1Thes. 4:16-17) (This is not a pre-trib "rapture" but a post-trib event that will coinside with the actual return of the Messiah.)

The depth of wisdom in this simple six letter phrase is so great that I am convinced that it was inspired by the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and that Messiah actually did appear to Rabbi Kaduri in a vision on Cheshvan  9, 5764 (Nov. 4, 2003) and reveal himself to him.

BTW the Notarikon of the opening phrase "Concerning the letter abbreviation of the Messiah’s name..."

spells in Hebrew the phrase "In it is the Name" or "In the Name of..." of it could be translated "The Name is in Him"

Another text used by Dichotomists is Eph. 2:14-16. However in this text we see only the destruction of enmity, not the birth of dichotomy. Another verse used by Dichotomists is Col. 3:11 "...there is neither Greek nor Jew..." however, if we look at a parallel passage in Gal. 3:28 we also read "There is neither Jew nor Greek... neither male nor female..." Yet females continue to exist as a distinct group with differing obligations (see 1Tim. 2:12-14; Titus 2:3-5.) The true meaning of this text is that Jews and Gentiles are both saved in the same way (Acts. 15:11; Rom. 3:22; 10:12) and both can be immersed into the Body of Messiah (1Cor. 12:13).

Several N.T. passages make it clear that Jews and Gentiles still exist as distinguishable peoples among believers (1Cor. 12:13; Rom. 9:3-4; Rom. 3:1-2; Rev. 2:9; 3:9) In the Ketuvim Netzarim Jews are still a nation of Priests (1Pt. 1:1; 2:5, 9 = Is. 43:20-21; Deut. 7:6; 10:15; Ex. 19:5-6; Is. 61:6) moreover in Acts 15 and 21 is is clear that there are both Jews and gentile believers (Acts 15:19-20; 21:21-26) with different emissaries (Acts 9:15; Gal. 1:16; 2:7-9).

I don't think you understand Acts 15.

I don't think you understand Ephesians 2:14.

The following is from my book Understanding Paul at:

Eph. 2:14 from the Greek reads:

For he himself is our peace, who has made both one,

and has broken down the middle wall of division           between us.

The word for "loosed" (broken down in most translations, but literally "loosed") here is in the Aramaic "sh'ra"  This particular Aramaic term was used in ancient Jewish literature as a technical theological term relating to halacha.  To "bind" an activity means to prohibit it, while "loosing" (sh'ra) an activity, meant that the activity was to be permitted.  This terminology appears throughout the Talmud’s (j.Ber. 5b; 6c; j.San. 28a; b. Ab.Zar. 37a; b.Ned. 62a; b.Yeb. 106a; b.Bets. 2b; 22a; b.Ber. 35a; b.Hag. 3b)

The word for "hedge" (middle wall in most translations) is "s'yaga" this word means hedge (compare usage of Hebrew cognate in Song. 7:3).  This is a technical term in Judaism found in the Mishna where we read "Make a hedge (Hebrew cognate of s'yaga) about the Torah." (m.Avot 1:1)  This precept meant to establish a protective barrier around the Torah to protect the Torah from trespasses.  The protective barrier consisted of commandments which were more stringent than those actually found in the Torah.  The purpose was to make it unlikely to even accidentally violate a real Torah command.

Now seeing these two halachic terms connected together one should immediately notice that the text should read "loosed the hedge" i.e. that Yeshua permitted certain acts that another School of halacha had bound

Now there were various schools of halacha in the first century. One such precept did not allow Jews to enter the home of a Gentile (see Acts 10:28). (the custom was probably of Essene origin.  Peter (Kefa) who held to the custom, had been a student of John the Baptist who had been

closely associated with the Qumran community.  The Essenes were also intolerant of outsiders)  Paul opposed this hedge and taught that Yeshua had "loosed" this "hedge."  The “hedge” or “wall” which is loosed in Eph. 2:14 is not the Torah, but hyper-purity regulations of the Essenes which created separation between Jews and Gentiles.

More messages embedded in Rabbi Kaduri's revelation:

The first phrase "He will uplift the people" has a Gematria of 475.
This is also the Gematria for "The Messiah is YHWH Elohim".

The Gematria of the second phrase "and prove that His Word and His Torah are valid" has a gematria of 1760.  This is also the gematria for "So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall YHWH be my Elohim" (Gen 28:21) and "Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen."  (Deu 27:18)

The gematria of the whole revelation is 2235 which is also the gematria for "For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul." (Jer 31:25)

The average gematria of all 30 letters is 74 which is the gematria for DA'A "knowledge".
