I am going to say some things here I have never said before.

The last few years have been rough for the Trimm family.  I have been in full time ministry for most of the last 25 years.  In the 1990's thru the first decade of the 21st Century, there was a great revival and great interest in the Jewish roots of the "New Testament".  Between 1999 and 2009 we held several conferences attended by people from all over the world, but with fewer attendees at each conference.  As the years passed by, the number of people interested decreased dramatically, apparently with the passing of most of the "Greatest Generation" and the progressive secularization of America.

By the summer of 2017 donations had gotten low enough that I sought out secular work to pay the bills.  I was fortunate enough to get an amazing job that paid well ( a once in a lifetime opportunity I could never replace).  Then in the summer of 2018 my wife of nearly thirty years Ingrid "Kitty" Trimm, spent 53 days in the hospital in Aug-Sept with Septic Shock, where she was in ICU on a ventilator twice during that time for about a week each time.  She had three major surgeries during this stay.

About six weeks into her hospitalization, I lost that secular job.  People were donating pretty well at the time, so we did OK at first. Kitty almost did not come home. Not only did she very nearly die at least twice, but because she was very nearly sent to a long term care facility instead of home. But she worked real hard in physical therapy and was able to at least start walking with a walker. She came home to a difficult recovery with regular visits form home health care nurses. At this point we were broke and behind on bills.

Kitty was not well enough to be left alone when she came home.  She was very dependent on me to take care of her. She still is to some degree.  Many patients that suffer from Septic Shock never fully recover, and now as we are seven months out from her last surgery, it is looking like that may be the case with her.

We decided that I would have to shift into high gear and try to make ends meet in full time with on-line ministry again.  Perhaps, we thought, Elohim was pushing me back into the ministry.

It has been almost six months since we came home, and we have barely made it each month.  We have paid the rent late all but one of those months (something we never did in the past).

This month has been the worst of all.  Our rent is past due, we are in danger of eviction if it is not paid quickly, our electric bill is due, and Kitty is in need of a medication that costs almost $400 and is not covered.

Any day now we expect a certified mail, and simply put, we have got to pay the rent ASAP or we will be evicted!

We currently owe, including late fees, $2,373.

After all that we have been through, I do not want us out on the street, or having our power shut off.

I am looking for ways to supplement my income working from home, but that is not an easy thing to do.

These folks might be an option since no one seems to understand the intricacies of tithing:
